The Fruit of a Spirit-Led Life

Galatians 5:22–23

As we continue in this week of Pentecost, we are reminded that the presence of the Holy Spirit in our lives is made visible through the fruit we bear. Galatians 5:22–23 tells us that the fruit of the Spirit is love, joy, peace, patience, kindness, goodness, faithfulness, gentleness, and self-control.

We thank God for the Spirit who shapes us from the inside out. God’s Spirit, who dwells among and within us, forms our character and transforms our relationships. They lead us away from division and toward unity, away from bitterness and toward grace.

This fruit is not produced through striving alone, but through abiding, remaining open to the work of the Spirit in our daily lives. As we yield ourselves to God’s presence, our lives begin to reflect the love we have received.

In this Pentecost week, may we ask ourselves what kind of fruit is being formed within us. And may we commit ourselves again to love and grace, especially toward those who are difficult to love, remembering that every person we meet is also held by God’s Spirit.

Together, we are being shaped into a community that reflects the heart of Christ.
