A Warm Welcome Awaits
Worship at St. Francis follows the historic patterns that have shaped Christian worship since the earliest days of the Church. If you come from another Anglican or liturgical church, much of our worship may feel familiar. If not, don’t worry, you are welcome to simply follow along and experience it with us.
You can expect:
- Scripture, prayer, and the celebration of the Eucharist (Holy Communion)
- A reverent and welcoming atmosphere
- Worship that connects us with centuries of Christian tradition
- Traditional hymns, rich church music, contemporary songs, and anthems
- A mix of traditional Elizabethan-language prayers and more accessible contemporary language, depending on the Sunday
- Occasional choral morning prayer or sung evensong, with the Eucharist also available

Families Welcome
A Place for Kids to Belong
If you have kids, children are always welcome in worship. We have busy bags and books in the Narthex (entryway).
The cribbery is in the undercroft, and Sunday School for pre-k to 3rd grade is held in the Sunday School room in the parish hall (the kids will be brought to you before Communion).
Someone will gladly direct you and help you find it!

The Eucharist
All who are baptized are welcome to receive Holy Communion with us. We celebrate the Eucharist as a shared meal of faith, grace, and belonging.
If you’re not baptized, we’d be glad to talk with you about baptism and what it means. We would be happy to answer your questions and help you explore that next step when you’re ready.
If you choose not to receive the Eucharist, you are still warmly invited to come forward and gather around the altar with us, where we will be happy to offer you a blessing.
