In this Pentecost season, we remember that the Holy Spirit is not only present in powerful and dramatic moments, but also in the quiet places of our lives. Romans 8:26–27 reminds us that the Spirit helps us in our weakness. When we do not know how to pray, the Spirit intercedes with groans too deep for words, and God, who searches the heart, knows the mind of the Spirit.
We give thanks to God, whose Spirit meets us exactly where we are. God’s Spirit, who is present with us and within us, carries our prayers when we cannot find the words. They hold our sorrow, strengthen our endurance, and remind us that we are never alone.
In a world that often demands strength without pause, the Spirit invites us into honesty and vulnerability. We do not have to pretend. We do not have to carry everything on our own.
As we move through this week, may we trust that the Spirit is already at work in our lives, interceding, healing, and guiding. And may we practice that same grace with one another, offering patience, compassion, and understanding in every interaction.
